Terms & Conditions of Lifestyle Membership

  • Lifestyle Members receive 500 golf points annually, which can be redeemed for rounds of golf in accordance with the points allocation table above.
  • Lifestyle points last for the membership year only.
  • Lifestyle Membership runs from the period of joining or renewal up to the 30th June each year. The full Annual Fee must be paid up-front and is not offered pro rata.
  • Lifestyle Members will receive a membership card credited to the value of the Lifestyle subscription.
  • A Lifestyle Member is entitled to use the clubhouse and to play golf including competitions, at times and rates set by the Board.
  • A Lifestyle Member is not eligible to win Monthly Medals, Club Championships or any Board Events.
  • No Access to timesheet for Round 1 of the Club Championships and the Club reserves the right to restrict for further rounds if it deems necessary to do so.
  • The BGC Board or its delegated Sub Committee may choose to reduce access to the booking system if deemed necessary.
  • Lifestyle members are unable to represent the Ballarat Golf Club in any event.
  • The Lifestyle Member rate for playing golf at any time will be displayed in the Pro Shop and will be deducted from the card value as appropriate.
  • Lifestyle Membership credit can only be used for members own golf, credits cannot be used for any other purchase including cart hire and competition fees.
  • All Lifestyle members must report to the Clubs Professional and show their membership card before going onto the course. Failure to do so will result in the deduction of the full green fee rate for that time of play from their membership and repeated offences may lead to suspension or cancellation of their playing rights with no refund.
  • Lifestyle Rates override any other rate for green fees or competitions (Guest/Visitor Rate) and do not include competition entry fees. Lifestyle members cannot enter the competition as a guest or visitor. No member may enter a competition without paying the relevant competition fee.
  • The membership credit is personal to the Lifestyle member and is not transferable. The subscription credit must be used prior to 31 December or will be forfeited. Any top ups will carry into any membership renewal but cannot be used to reduce the new years fees.
  • Lifestyle Members may top up their membership allowance at a minimum of $100 per transaction. Any points that have been topped up will never expire.
  • Lifestyle Members are not eligible to vote or hold a position on a committee.
  • A Lifestyle Member may upgrade to another category at any time during that year and use the remaining balance of your account towards the annual subscription.
  • A Lifestyle Member on joining is bound by the rules of the club.
